2015 Update:
HOWDEE! Hope all is well with you. A bit has happened since my last entry and I wanted to share what we've been doing.
Dikki and I decided to change things up and live as "roadies." We're admiring the country from a RV (coming to a city near you) with our dog Hunter who is in constant search for the next best smell.
Always interested in creating something new, we developed a few products that match our passions: fishing and natural healing.
Dikki's "Dikbait for Big Girls" is a custom made spinner bait fishing lure designed to catch egg-laden, tournament-winning "big girl" fish. If you're interested in what it looks like or how it works you can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UO12JTU
My product, "Active Life Natural Pain Relief," is a 100% all natural joint and muscle pain relief cream. You can learn more about it here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XLU6HEO
I hope you're having fun too and making each day count.
Take care, Robin
All is well in the Ozarks! Hello and welcome to my WFB update.
My life is colorful and fun with Dikki, my sweetheart, and Hunter, our energetic dog. Most days are filled with fishing, biking, vegetable gardening, two-stepping and watching the ever-changing view.
In 2007, we moved to the Ozarks from Kansas City. I worked as a Physical Therapist (The Ohio State Univ grad) and Dikki continued to run his paper recycling business – somehow he makes “working” look a lot like fishing!
Within a few months after our move, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Interesting how things work out – at the time, I had no idea that our bit of paradise was to become my healing center. I couldn’t have picked a better spot!
I semi-retired from Physical Therapy and began to illustrate. What fun it is to create everyday. Dikki writes the copy to go along with the images – he’s the talented one!
My vision is to manufacture products with the images, art license, and exhibit at National trade shows. Oh my….lots to consider between now and then.
Dikki and I do not have children. Fortunately, we can get our youngster fix as mentors at the local elementary/middle school. Of course, my little girl is the smartest, funniest, and prettiest one in the County!
We get to Milwaukee at least twice a year to visit my parents. I’d love to meet up with you. Please stay in touch either by phone/email/ web site/ or on facebook.
Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the reunion. I know it will be a blast and I’ll be thinking of you.
Thank you to Betsy and everyone who is responsible for the arrangements. I appreciate my memories of high school and I’m grateful my path began on the corner of Woodburn and Courtland.
Take care,
Robin
