Thomas (Scott) Pakenham

Gary Schmidt was our neighbor & friend on Berkley Blvd and we walked to Richards School as kids.

I spent time with Gary's family who were always very nice including me in their activities.and enjoyed a like sense of humor.

It is sad when we lose a friend, family member at any age but having family experience with Crohn's & Colitis we know this is a debilitating disease with different outcomes for each person.

In Gary's passing we become congizant of this disease and know that many others are dealing with something that is so important to our general health.

I will keep Gary and his family in my thoughts as well as Debbie and Mother Lois.

I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing but our thoughts are with you Bestey and your family knowing Ken is in a greater place and at peace.

On a flight earlier this year I sat next to & met your son Michael who had told me about his return home to the North Shore with his family to live close to Ken and you during Ken's personal challenge..

I am happy for you that he was able to be there to support  you during this time; it sets a great example of family and commitment to one's parents that we all could be proud of.
