Jay, so shocked to read this today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time. I will always remember how sweet she was to everyone and remembering everyone's birthday on this Class of '72 page.

My heartfelt condolences to Jay and the rest of her family and friends. Shelley was so generous and helpful to me at the last reunion when I was trying to figure out how best to introduce my California kids to Wisconsin. She suggested Elkhart Lake and those days on the lake remain one of our sweetest shared memories. I also remember trying to contain uncontrollable laughter with her in the sanctuary at the old Temple Emanuel on Kenwood during Sunday School....Alav ha shalom, Shelley.

I have tried, since she passed away, to describe what Shelley meant to me and all of the people who were her best friends. I can't. What I would like you all to remember is that she was happiest when she was giving joy to others. She will live on in our hearts forever.

Well said, Bruce. She lived her life to the fullest and put others first. Shelley had a continuos smile on her pretty. That's a constant visual for me. Love you Shelley. You left us too soon but we have incredible fond memories That we can hold close to our hearts.

Shelley was one in a million! I have waited to post this, as I have endeavored to find proper words to express what she meant to me and so many others. I still haven't been able to find sufficient words, but will say that she was one of the sweetest, funniest, and kindest people I have ever known. She will always live in my heart.

It's been a year, and it seems like just yesterday. I still sometimes think she's goiong to call.
Jay Usow
Yesterday was a difficult day. I read my last text from Shelley and it caused all of the wonderful memories I have of her to flood back. I am thankful I had her for my 62 years-I choose not to think of what might have been.

Jay - My prayer for you a year ago was that all the memories of the good times you had with Shelly would be there for you as a source of encouragement and support in times of need. Here's to coping. Steve
