Shovers, Gary Passed away on Nov. 2, 2017 at the age of 63. Proud father of Tammy B. (Zachary Hoffman) Shovers, Jacob A. (Corinne Zeiszler) Shovers and the late Melissa Shovers. Adoring grandfather of Dexter Hoffman. Dear brother of Brad (Marilyn) Shovers and Judy Shovers. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Gary will always be remembered for his kind spirit and generous heart. Funeral service Sun., Nov. 5 at 1:00 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. Interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milw. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Congregation Shalom or Chabad of Downtown appreciated.

So sorry to hear this news. Gary was a kind & gentle man. If you didn't know Gary, you missed out knowing a great guy. I was sorry he wasn't at last summer's reunion, but didn't know why he wasn't there.

Gary was, indeed, once of those really nice guys; always met you with a friendly smile & warm greeting.  Sorry to hear of Gary's loss.

I spent many nights on the slopes at Little Switzerland with Gary. He would always want to stop at Arbys for roast beef on the way home. Gary was the only guy I knew who had a Boat of his own in High School. He loved to waterski and fish, we would head out on Lake Michigan until you could not see shore which always made ne nervous but Gary would never get shook no matter how rough it would get.. He set the trend of Smoking Cigars long before it was cool. Gary knew he was going to be a Carpet guy when he was in Grade School, he loved the busness. Very sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good Man
