In Memory

Paul Messier

This is from Paul's daughter, Paula Musa.

**Please extend this invite to anyone who we may have missed. **

My dad was pretty adamant that he did not want a full funeral. He would always say, "why have a $10,000 party where you're the guest of honor and not even be able to enjoy it?" He was okay with a small get together as long as it was positive and not a big to do. I know some of our family is far away and won't be able to attend. We are hoping to have guests write down a favorite memory. For those of you who cannot attend feel free to message me or post a favorite memory of my dad. We'll collect all these memories into a book to help keep his spirit alive for the grandchildren. We are also planning to release his ashes back home in the U.P. per his wishes later in maybe July. Thank you all for your love and support during this tough time for our family. ♥

Messier, Paul, 63, passed away peacefully at home Sunday December 24, 2017. He is survived by Dianne Frostman-Messier and sister Claire Messier. Loving dad of Olivia (John) Mesich, Paula Jo (Ray) Musa and Jeramie Frostman. Proud grandpa of 8 grandchildren. Further survived by numerous family members and friends. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 2pm-4pm in the Pavilion at Lime Kiln Park in Grafton, WI.

Paul was an easy going friend and a pleasure to pass a good time with.

Paul was a good fried of mine during high school and for years after.  I was Chico and he was Poncho.  Paul and I and a few others (who I should probably not mention) lived life on the edge.  For us High School was a time to live life to the fullest, testing limits as we went.  Paul and I had a lot in common, we liked fast cars, chasing women, playing pool and having a great time.  He came from the UP and I always wanted to live up there.  If Paul liked you he would do anything for you.  Unfortunally he was delt a bad hand as far as genetics go.  His health after high school was not the best and even though he suffered quite a bit, he never complained.  I had great respect for his Mom (a single mother) and had great times with his entire family  Many great memories!!

Rest in Peace Poncho  I will miss you!
