Pluwak (Giffin), Marcia M. "Marcy" Age 67 of Golden Valley passed away Oct. 23, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Survived by loving husband of 33 years, Peter; daughter, Natalia; brothers, John Giffin, Tom (Mary Giffin), and Bruce Giffin. Preceded in death by parents, Merton and Muriel Giffin. Marcy was a graduate of Drake University. She spent her career with Wells Fargo. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Visitation Sunday, Oct. 31, 2-5pm Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. and Vernon St. at Hwy 100. Funeral service 11am Mon. Nov. 1, Christ Presbyterian Church, W. 70th St. at Hwy 100, Edina. You could not walk down the hall and pass Marci without smiling back at her. Although I did not know her well she always brightened my day. My thoughts are with her family who cared for her through this terrible disease. Just know that she made our lives better by being there.

Marcy and I 1st became friends and then later dated and went to prom. She was always a very upbeat and fun person to be with. I have fond memories of going to her house after school and listening to records and talking. All very fun and innocent stuff...just like Marcy. She was a delight to be with...just like her many friends!
